Only 3 miles outside the city of Coyhaique and in the heart of the Chilean Patagonia, a new Lodge opens its door in October 2000 to anglers and outdoor lovers from all over the world. The owners, Mincho and Victoria designed and created Mincho`s Lodge to greet and host the visitors who come to enjoy the beauties of this region and also to share with them their knowledge of Aisen. The lodge has 6 double rooms with private bath, all with a beautiful view of the Simpson river and the Andes mountain range.

Two of the most special places in the Lodge are the kitchen and the Quincho (barbecue area), where the guests can taste the regional dishes prepared by the chef with local products and cooked in wood stove, all meals can be enjoyed with excellent Chilean wines
